So the NHL just released the starters for the All-Star Game. WTF are fans thinking! Senator fans have just shown the world that they are just as stupid as Canadien fans (Seriously Komisarek?).

Only 2 of the guys voted in legitimately deserve it and that pisses me off.
God Damn Ottawa Senators overload. I'm shocked Anderson didn't get voted in to start in net, sub .900 save percentage is good right? Yes I understand there should be a bit of a Ottawa bias, so maybe Spezza could be included in the starters and Alfredsson could be one of the Captains when it's all said and done but not including Kessel and Giroux at this point in time blows my mind.
Lidstrom being below Gonchar in voting just shows the sheer ignorance of fans.
I do like that Hall got more votes than Seguin, so suck on that Boston!
What I would like to see this year...
Captains:
Alfredsson and Heatley - Imagine the uproar of fans! They may not even go and make the NHL second guess ever having another ASG weekend...
Ovechkin, if he makes it, being the last pick this year - While Kessel pulling out his new cam to capture the moment.
Not every team needs to be represented. If no one from Columbus deserves to be there then so be it.
No more goofy fucking relays in the skills competition. Stick to the ones people like to see.

Puck control relay
Most Accurate Shot (Plus one more target right in the middle where the goalie's chest is so Andy Sutton can feel good about hitting one target)
Finish it off with a big ass shoot out. Miss and your out, winner can donate everyone's sticks to the charity of his choice to auction off.

For the game itself, I'd love to see a scrap.
I don't mind the All-Star weekend because I know it's for the fans. But should it really be decided by some whack job morons who vote Alfredsson and Spezza in over everyone else in the league? I don't think so.
Again, like last year, I will be tuning in to see TSN's All-Star Game Draft. Like it or hate it I'm sure you will be too.
If you could send some Oilers this year who would you pick?
I'd go with Eberle, RNH and Khabi as they all deserve it this year.
The league is so retarded and ass backwards with this set up. They really need to rethink fan voting and only allow players that actually deserve to be there, that can be voted for. If the all star game was in Edmonton and Whitney was voted in I would be embarrassed.
