Well it's the semis today, and I've got a semi just thinking about the Team Canada getting to the gold medal game. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, there's still a game to be won, and it's tonight, on CTV, which I can't watch, because I'm in Asia.
Jesus, it's been a while since I've had to do one of these, but since Jeanshorts is nowhere around, it looks like I'll have to do it. Canada should easily beat the Slovaks, but that's just me saying that as an outsider. I haven't watched a single game, because I can't, and I have no idea what Slovakia's team even looks like.
Gaborik, Hossa, the immortal and never dying Ziggy Palffy??? They've got some players on there, and it would be a smart thing for all of us to get really drunk and pretend like they're not even there. Except for me of course, because ESPN is showing this routing of a game by the USA, but not the Canada game after.
So what do I get to watch? God damn speed skating, or pop a Valium (because I can get them over the counter here, suckers) and go back to bed. Either way. 7-3 Canada.
